Buffy Buffy was only 15 years old when a man informed her that her destiny was to be a Slayer. Claiming he was her watcher, he told her that she must slay vampires using the skills that he taught her.
Well, some dead vampires and a burnt down gymnasium later, Buffy is expelled from her school and leaves her home town to arrive in Sunnydale, a nice suburban town with a school nearby. It just so happens that this high school is situated on a hell mouth, a place that draws demons to it with its evil lour. Once in Sunnydale High, Buffy befriends a girl named Willow. Willow introduces Buffy to her friend Xander. Buffy asks where she can get some new books and is informed by Willow that the library is the best place to go, she also adds a new Library Teacher has arrived and she is eagre to meet him.
Everything was going fine until Buffy wondered into the library, and the new teacher handed her what he assumed she was looking for, a book on vampires.
Buffy was immediately put off when the teacher, Giles, informed her that he is her new watcher, and wants her to start training immediately. She tried to abandon her skills and be normal, but that is simply impossible for one who is the Slayer.
Willow and Xander soon discovered Buffy's abilities but remained friends with her. But Buffy had an evil adversary, The Master. He is as old as any vampire on record and is trapped in an underground church, on top of the hell mouth. He was trapped there long ago when he tried to open the hell mouth but failed, now he was stuck there unable to escape.
Things are made worse for Buffy when Giles tells her she will not only have to fight vampires, but demons and other evil creatures.
Buffy meets a man named Angel, who helps her, occasionally tipping her off on demon roomers. Buffy becomes enthralled with him, only to discover one night that he is in fact a vampire. A vampire, with a soul, that is.
Buffy killed The Master in a fierce battle. The master actually killed Buffy, but she was then revived by Xander.
Buffy and her friends fight any evil that came their way, including some truly bad creatures (like Spike and Drusilla), and so this goes on, until one night Angel and Buffy make love.
Angel reverts to his alter ego, Angelus, (the demon with an angelic face).
Buffy's true love did a lot of damage, torturing and killing her friends, until one day Buffy has had enough. She decided she had to put aside her feelings for Angel because he no longer existed and she set off to kill him before he could end the world. Unknown to her Willow has found the disk with the spell to restore Angel's soul.
As Buffy is about to slay Angelus, the spell is reversed, and Angel returns. But things can't stay this happy forever. Angelus had opened a gate to hell and the only way to close it was to kill Angel. He and Buffy shared a small moment were she told him she loved him, and before Angel can even remember what's happened, she thrusts her sword through his heart. Angel reached out his hand as he was sucked into hell, soul and all.
Some time passed, and Buffy decided to move on with her life. As a sign of this she returns to where Angel disappeared and places his ring on the ground. As she leaves though, Angel returns from hell, but he is disturbed from the time spent in hell.
Buffy nursed him back to health, changing him from a wild animal, to the man he once was.
Life goes on as usual for our little slayer until one day when another Slayer comes to Sunnydale.
Her name was Faith and she hated all the responsibility of being a Slayer. The only thrill of Slaying for her was fighting and killing the demons, not saving the innocent. Buffy thinks Faith is just a little wild, but then one night Faith mistakenly killed a man. There was no turning back for her now, so she joined forces with the mayor, an evil man bent on destroying Sunnydale.
Buffy can rest assured, because at least she has her boyfriend to comfort her, that is, until he decides there is no future for the two and tells her he's leaving.
With Faith in a coma, and the battle with the mayor over, Buffy had nothing to worry about. Her boyfriend has left but at least she hasn't got anyone bent on destroying her.
Buffy and the gang are now at collage, she is seeing a guy (who fortunately for her can walk around in daylight) named Riley. Spike returned to Sunnydale, but now he's a changed vampire. Not by choice, but by way of the Initiatives' implant which renders him harmless against humans. Buffy is by any means not perfect, but at least she hasn't got anyone Hell bent on destroying her. Until Adam comes along that is.....

WILLOW Willow was introduced in the first episode of the television series Buffy. Willow is the nerdish, smart gal.
When she first met Buffy, Willow immediately assumed Buffy simply wanted her to move so she could sit down, but Buffy actually got on with her and the two became very close.
Willow and Xander had been best friends since childhood, and Willow secretly harboured deeper feelings for him. The two of them constantly rebutted any criticism they ever got off Cordelia with a smile. Although Willow loved Xander, he was now firmly smitten with Buffy.
This went on for a while, Willow loving Xander, Xander loving Buffy, Buffy loving a dead guy, and it was all well and good. But then she moved onto her new interest, the deeply solemn guitar player, (who also happens to be a ware wolf), Oz.
Although she was not too fantastically amazing in the fighting fields, she was always ready to help by looking through all of Giles' dusty occult books, looking for any answers o occult books, looking for any answers on how to defeat their latest demon. She also took an interest in magic later on in the series and is now a fully-fledged witch, although most of her spells almost always end up nearly killing all her friends.
Just when she thought everything was right in the world, (except for that weird phenomenon of Xander and Cordelia going out), her feelings for Xander return, and this time they are answered.
Xander and Willow have a secret affair behind Oz and Cordelias' back, making out when ever they were out of sight. Until one day when Cordelia walks in on them. Feeling terrible, Cordelia runs out of the room and impales herself on a broken piece of wood when the stairs underneath her give way. Oz and Cordelia are both angered, but Cordelia is even more furious (perhaps because she was being cheated on by a nerdy guy with an even nerdier girl?) And in her fury she wishes Buffy had never come to Sunnydale. Anya, a vengeance demon, grants her wish and we see a side of willow we've never seen before.
Since Buffy never came to Sunnydale, Willow was turned into a vampire along with Xander. This Willow differs from our Willow in almost every way. She has an insanity that is reminiscent of Drusilla's. Torturing Angel for fun and snacking on innocent humans, she is the Master’s right hand man, or woman, or vampire? After being killed by Oz, (ironically enough), we are never to see her again, or so we think.
The world is reverted to its usual self none of them remembering anything. Anya also is left with no memory and no demon powers. In fact she is now a teenager.
Oz gets over it, and he and Willow are happy. Xander on the other hand doesn't get the girl and remains a bachelor.
Things go on as usual, but the fans must have enjoyed seeing Willows' nasty side, because when Anya tries to regain her powers, she inadvertently brings back the Willow from the alternate dimension before she is about to get staked. But unfortunately she is returned to her world at the end of the episode and receives the stake through the heart that she so very much deserves.
Willow continued to do her thing, looking up demons and such, and growing her powers as a witch, but when the group went to collage Oz was forced to leave in a very Angel type way. He claimed things would never work out with him unable to control his ware wolf power.
Willow continues to be her usual wacky self, but is perhaps changing her sexual preference slowly as she becomes more deeply involved with her "friend" Tara.

XANDER
Xander was the first member of the Scooby gang to see Buffy, and at the very moment he laid eyes on her… He crashed his skateboard and fell on his butt.
Xander is the comic relief of the series, the stupid, but sweet guy next door.
At the beginning of the series, Xander liked buffy more than a friend, he wanted them to be a couple. Buffy on the other hand, had a completely opposite view. She wanted them to be nothing more than friends because she didn't think of him in that way and she didn't want to hurt their friendship. Besides she already was interested in a certain brooding, caveman browed dead guy. Xander struggled with this matter for a long time but eventually got over it and forgave Buffy for not having the same feelings for him that he had for her, although he never stopped hating Angel for a second. Every time the two were together they were like feuding siblings, always trying to out do each other in front of Buffy.
Xander's favourite pastime was to shoot his insults nice and fast at the beautiful, but incredibly bitchy, Cordelia Chase. Cordelia had hated Xander and Willow since they were in grade school, and Xander and Willow had always shot their comebacks at her without hesitation. That is, until the day came that Cordelia and Xander found out that, in a sick and twisted way, they truly loved each other. The two became inseparable over a course of time, Xander finding out that Cordelia wasn't as shallow as she originally seemed, and Cordelia finding out Xander wasn't quite as nerdy as he originally came across as. But offcourse there is the whole Willow thing. Cordelia quickly dumps Xander after she finds out about the affair and is slowly accepted back into the group that was once called "The Cordets".
Xander, now and then was an all right fighter, though his skills varied in different episodes. One episode he'd get a magnificent punch in and in the next he'd be having a bitch fight with Harmony, pulling her hair and kicking her in the shins.
Of course Xander was delighted to hear the good news that Angel was leaving, though he tried not to be too happy when Buffy was around.
Unfortunately Xander didn't make it into U.C. Sunnydale, but he still hangs around the gang. He is going out with the former vengeance demon, Anya and things are going quite nice with the two and although he lives in the basement of his parent's house, he still keeps up his good humour.
